Bookkeeping

A monthly routine for your rental books

A repeatable checklist for importing statements, reviewing entries and sharing reports.

Gather the month's records

Download the transaction file for each rental bank and card account. Keep the statement, mortgage detail and receipts for the same period together so you can check them against the books.

Import and review

Upload the supported statement files. Review the unbooked feed, assign property and unit context, and choose the appropriate bookkeeping category. Check whether transfers or payments are already represented before creating another entry.

Check the repeat transactions

Use rules for familiar descriptions and payment templates for loans. Review matches when a payee, amount or property changes. A saved rule repeats the decision you entered, so the first decision deserves a careful check.

Close with reports

Run net income and cash flow for the period. Review bank balances, unusual categories and missing receipts. Export a consistent report set for your accountant and lock a closed period when the books are ready.

Keep your next step simple.

Use the product guide for the app workflow, or contact support with your question. Bookkeeping reports are not tax advice; review filing decisions with a qualified professional.
