Security

We never store bank passwords. Statement files you upload are read once into transactions. If you link an account, the connection runs through Stripe Financial Connections; we keep only Stripe's account reference.

Taxpayer IDs are encrypted. A vendor's SSN or EIN is encrypted before it's stored, and only the last four digits are ever shown.

Receipts stay private. Files are kept in private storage and only ever served to members of the portfolio they belong to.

History is kept. Corrections are recorded as reversing entries, so nothing in your books silently disappears, and you can lock a period once it's filed.

Access you control. Invite a partner with full access or your accountant read-only, and remove access any time. Sign-ins use encrypted connections and sessions expire.
